Brief description

"St Leonard's Church," is a Grade II* listed building dating from the 13th century, the Chancel and Nave date from this period.

The West Porch and Tudor Archway are 14th century.

The North Tower and South Transept date from the 15th Century.

The seven-sided Jewel Porch, built by Rector John Jewel dates from the 1550s.

The Nave contains fine examples of medieval floor tiles and 17th-century pews and pulpit.

The stained-glass windows date between the 13th - 15th Centuries.

Some restoration was carried out in the late 1800s to the Reredos, Piscina and mosaic floor.
