Accessibility:  

Room for 1 car to pull in next to entry. No disability spaces. Entry through kissing gate, with no separate disabled entrance. It is about a 100 yard/metre walk to the monument across a farm field. 

Brief description:

Constructed nearly 6000 years ago, this Neolithic burial chamber was originally much larger and covered in earth, similar to the chamber at nearby, Tinkinswood. The chamber consists of 3 stones, with the capstone weighing some 35 Tonnes.

Directions:

The site is approx 3.5 miles from Culverhouse Cross Interchange and can be accessed via the A4050, then Old Port Road and St Lythan's Road.

Daily 10am to 4pm, with last admission 30 minutes before closing.

Site closed 24, 25 & 26 December and 1 January.
