Originally built in 1857 as a parish church, St Mary's Cathedral is also known as Cathedral Church of Our Lady of Sorrows, and is a Grade II listed building.

Directions:
Situated 2.2 miles NE of Rhostyllen via the A5152. At the roundabout take the first exit onto the A5152/Victoria Road. At the next roundabout continue straight over/2nd exit and continue on the A5152. The road bears left one way, follow A541 and keep right and turn onto Regent Street. Continue straight on Regent Street and the Cathedral will be on your right hand side.
