There is limited parking on the grass verge opposite the church grounds but without disability parking spaces. Entrance from the road is through an iron gate across flat ground. The entrance into the church has a small wooden curb and is wheelchair accessible with support. The interior floors are flat with wheelchair access to the congregational areas. In 2004 new facilities were installed included a disability access toilet.

Brief description:

Parts of the church date to the 12^th century with the nave and side aisles being 13^th century. It features a 14^th century decorated chancel and a 15^th century arcaded panel probably taken from another church. The church is part of the Fosse Group of parishes and offers regular services and events.

Directions:

St Mary’s Church is 9.53 miles/15.34 kilometres east of Nottingham. From the major junction of the A46 take the exit onto the Fosse Way and at the roundabout take the exit onto Tenman Lane east towards Car Colston. At the junction of Car Lane follow Spring Lane north and the church will become visible on the east side of the road.
