Brief description
https://cadw.gov.wales/open-doors-st-mary-virgin-church-lenten-pool-denbigh
"This church dates from the mid-19th century and was built as a replacement for St Hillary’s, of which only the tower remains beside the castle. It is a large stone-built aisled church in eclectic Victorian Gothic style, with a hundred-foot tower which has a clock and a peel of eight bells. The church is constructed in a light-coloured local limestone, irregularly pointed, with dressings from the Minera quarries. It has several attractive stained-glass windows, the feature window 1880 is named Scenes from the New Testament with the Twelve Apostles. Unusually, the architects also designed the font, reredos and the pulpit."
