There is a car park available at this church. Level tarmacked pathway leading to the church with a ramped entrance available. Small raised lip through doorways. Internal flooring of the church is mostly stone with a run of carpet lining the aisles. Hearing (Induction) loop in place. Large print available. Assistance dogs welcome.
Brief Description:
The first recorded reference to a church at Stamfordham dates back to 1220. The church was rebuilt in 1848 to a design by B Ferrey. Much of the church’s original stonework was once again used in the restoration.

Situated 6.6 miles W of Ponteland via the A696, turning left onto Limestone Lane. After 3.6 miles, turn right onto Peacock Lane and continue on this road through Cheeseburn Grange, and after 0.6 miles turn right onto the B6309. After 0.2 miles turn left again onto unnamed road towards the Swinburne Arms. Before reaching the Swinburne Arms, turn left onto South Side Street. At the end of this lane, St Mary's will be on your right hand side.
