Accessibility:There is no on-site parking, however opposite the church is the Parkway Shopping Centre which has a free car park, including 7 disability blue badge parking bays. There is ramped access into the church. There is a public toilet which is wheelchair accessible and also included nappy-changing facilities.
Brief Description:
St Mary’s RC Cathedral was designed by Frank Swainston and built in 1985 to replace the Old St Mary’s Cathedral in Sussex Street which was built in the 19th Century and burnt down in 2000.
