Accessibility:
There are parking and toilet facilities at the church. NB: There is a charge of 50p for the use of the toilet facilities. The main approach to the church is by a slightly sloping tarmac pathway to the main doors of the church. This pathway is quite long, but benches are available. Inside the church the aisle is carpeted and flooring is tiled. There are a few steps up to the altar area but this is inaccessible to the public.
Brief description:
Eglwys Newydd/Hafod Church is dedicated to St Michael and All Angels original church was built in 1620. It has undergone a number of restorations including being rebuilt after a major fire in April, 1932. It has a number of features which include: the Coade Stone Font, marble memorial to Mariamne, 16th c. Flemish stained glass, and the East Window.

From Aberystwyth take the A44 for apx 1.5 miles. At Penterwyd junction take the A4120 and follow signs for Devils Bridge Falls. Take the B4574 for apx 1.2 miles for Hafod Church and Estate. OS SN768736

Easter-end September open daily to the public from 10.30-4.30.
Church services are held on the 1st and 2nd Sunday of each month at 10.30 am

Small shop area within the church offer leaflets to purchase on Hafod Estate, Eglwys Newydd/Hafod Church, the stained glass windows and many woodland walks around.
