Accessibility:

Parking is available directly outside of the church. There is a tarmacked pathway leading to entrance, with approximately 5 steps leading down into the church. Once inside, the floor is laid to stone, with a run of carpet along the main aisle. There are steps within the church at the alter area, with ramps in some areas.


Brief Description:

St Michael's church Edenham is a grade I listed building, which has a tower thought to have been built in the reign of Henry VI. It seats over 450 people. One of its features of interest is the Cedar tree's growing in the churchyard. One of which is thought to be over 150 years old.

Directions:

Situated 15.6 miles W of Spalding. Head N on Pinchbeck Road, Spalding Road, and at Pinchbeck village turn left onto Rose Lane, and follow it onto Rotten Row. At the end of Rotten Row turn left onto B1180. At the Ship Inn turn left onto B1180/Glenside S. At the end of this road, turn right onto Bourne Road/A151. Continue on A151/Spalding Road/Abbey Road. At intersection with North Road & South Road/A15, bare slight left onto West Street/B1193 and continue across mini roundabout. At next roundabout take 2nd exit and continue on A151/West Road. Upon reaching Edenham, turn right onto Church Lane (opposite post office) and taking first left which will lead you to the church.
