Brief Description:

"St Michael's and All Angel's Church, the history of which predates 1254 when it was mentioned in ‘Chronicle of the Princes’, is prominently placed in the centre of the small hamlet of Llanfihangel-y-Creuddyn, in the Ystwyth Valley. Built by the Welsh lords of Creuddyn the medieval church was restored several times in the nineteenth century. The square tower was lowered by almost two metres in 1898.

The interior includes 19th century pitch pine pews, a carved altarpiece of the Last Supper, painted in 1919 by a Belgian refugee artist, and a window dedicated to a baby boy."
