Accessibility:

For the ruin, due to the rough terrain and access via 2 kissing gates, it is only available to walkers.

Access to the Retreat is from level Car Park with access to the building via paved paths which has small steps.

Brief description:

Said to be the birthplace of St David.

Grade II listed ruin looked after by CADW.

The Holy Well close to the Chapel is said to have healing properties.

Present Chapel adjacent to the Retreat was built in 1934.

The private Retreat, based in the house alongside the Chapel, is run by the Sisters of Mercy

Directions:

From the A487 follow the coast road signposted to St David’s.

On approaching St David’s bear left at the Monument, downhill, and then take first Left sign posted St Non’s Chapel and Warpool Court Hotel.

Retreat is at the end of a narrow lane.

Car Parking for the ruin is just before the Retreat building.
