Brief description
"St. Peter's Church" is a Grade I listed building dating from the 11th-15th century.
The Church entrance door and archway date from the medieval period and restoration work was carried out in the late 1890s when the Porch and Vestry were added.
The Tower dates to the Norman period, the 12th century.
The Nave, Chancel, priest door and piscina and stoup date from the 13th Century
The Clerestory dates from the 15th century.
The carved wooden pulpit dates from the Jacobean period (1603-1625).
The stained-glass windows date from 19th - 20th centuries.
The stained-glass "St. George's" window designed by A.K. Nicholas dates from 1918.
