Brief description

St Peter's Church is a parish church and Grade I listed building in the village of Edensor, Derbyshire. The church's architect was George Gilbert Scott, one of the most prolific English Gothic Revival architects of the 19th century.

Directions

From Buxton, head north-east on The Crescent. Turn left to stay on The Crescent. Turn left onto Terrace Road/The Quadrant/A515. Continue to follow The Quadrant/A515. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Station Road/A53. Go through 1 roundabout. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Spring Gardens/A53. Continue to follow the A53. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Bakewell Road/A6. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on Bakewell Road/A6. Continue to follow the A6 for 9.6 miles. Turn left onto the A6020. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on the A6020. A6020 turns left and becomes the A619. Turn right onto B6048. Slight right to stay on the B6048. Slight right onto B6012. Turn right towards Jap Lane. Turn left onto Jap Lane. The church will be on the right. OS SK 250699
