Accessibility:

Roadside parking is available at the church directly outside the main gates with additional free parking in a carpark opposite the church, the ground may be uneven and there is a short track leading from the car park onto the road. Entrance to the grounds is via a metal gate and there are concrete pathways up to the main entrance and surrounding the church.

The entrance via a wooden door into the church porch is level however slightly uneven due to differing floor surfaces. Once inside the church there is a wide carpeted aisle and one step leading up to the alter. Box pews are either side of the aisle.  

Brief Description:

St Sanctain's Church is constructed on the site of a 5th century keeill and was built as a Parish Church in the mid 12th century. Inside are numerous tapestries hanging on the walls, impressive stained glass windows, some ancient carved stone slabs, and a pitched wooden roof. Services are held every Sunday at 11am.

Directions:

Situated 6 miles South West of Douglas. Take Old Castletown Road out of Douglas heading south. Follow for approximately 6 miles then turn left following the sign for St Sanctain's Church. The church can then be found on the right hand side, car park on the left opposite.
