Details

Accessibility:

There is no designated parking outside of the church, roadside parking only. There is a wide grass verge between the roadside and the gated entrance. With no laid pathway from the gate, the ground is all grass and could be unlevel in places. At the entrance of the archway into the church, there is a slightly sloped stone to be aware of. This then leads you to the main doors of the church where there is a step down into the church itself. Once inside the flooring is laid to stone and there are some small steps within the church.

Brief Description:

Named after the Anglo Saxon bishop, Swithun, and first recognised in the 1086 Doomsday survey.
