"This fine 13th century church has three chantry chapels, two containing medieval stone altar slabs. The tower has six bells, the largest being pre-Reformation and the smallest dating from 1665.There are several fine 18th century monuments carved by the Brute family of stonemasons.

The church was restored by George Pace following a major 1975 fire, with a screen and chandeliers designed by the architect. 

The churchyard has several ancient yews, fourteen oak Stations of the Cross and a biblical wildflower garden. The recently completed Chapel of Remembrance serves as a memorial to the fallen from the two World Wars."
