Brief Description:

St Tyfai’s Church is also known as St Faith and St Tyfei’s church. It is a grade II listed building and, in some parts, dates back to medieval times.

The church still contains fragments of 13th century architectural detail in the chancel - a piscina and two lancet windows, and there is early masonry surviving at the bases of walls. At the west end is a 14th/15th century tower. The church underwent extensive restoration during the 19th century, to the point of rebuilding, to counteract the effects of earlier extensive improvements.
