Accessibility

There is a gravel car park alongside the windmill with a grass approach to the mill's entrance. The upper levels in the mill are not accessible to wheelchairs.


Brief Description

This 18th century windmill is the last of it's kind in the county, and was possibly the last working windmill with cloth sails in Britain. It operated commercially until 1939. The sails were replaced in 1958 and again in 2004.
