Accessibility:

The museum is wheelchair accessible and there is a wheelchair to borrow, if required. All areas of the museum are suitable for wheelchair users as there is a lift to the second floor of the museum.

There is free parking, limited to two hours, on the town square (not Saturdays) but no disability spaces are stated, but there is a car park with disability bays a five-minute walk away in Theatre Street.

Brief Description:

The history museum, set in the Georgian town of Swaffham, has plenty to offer to ensure a fun and educational day out. The museum has annual exhibitions, displays dating back to the Stone Age, archaeological finds from the local area and the interesting true story of how a Swaffham man discovered the tomb of King Tutankhamen.
