There are a couple of Pay and Display car parks in the town centre, with designated disability spaces. The Tourist Information Centre has a level entrance. There are toilets in the Market Hall, with disability toilets accessible with a RADAR key.

Talgarth is a small market town and community, and according to traditional accounts Talgarth was the capital of the early medieval Welsh Kingdom of Brycheiniog.
