2025: "The Thameside Aviation Museum at Coalhouse Fort is permanently closed due to the disbandment of the Coalhouse Fort Project, the museum's age, and the COVID-19 pandemic. The artifacts have been removed and will go into long-term storage, and the fort itself is now under the ownership of Thurrock Council and is on the Historic England At Risk Register. While the fort's park is open for walks, there are no longer any open days, guided tours, or general public access to the fort building itself. "
