"The Cartoon Museum is fully wheelchair accessible. Wheelchairs are permitted everywhere in the museum, including in both galleries and the toilet.

We have a lift that provides step free access from street level, to the museum.

You can borrow sensory backpacks for free at the front desk to make your visit more comfortable and enjoyable. These have been specially designed for autistic, neurodivergent and learning-disabled visitors of all ages, as well as visitors with anxiety.   

Young visitors can refer to our easy-to-read Look and See guide to know what to expect when they visit the museum. Visitors with anxiety and autism might also find this guide useful.

Visually Impaired visitors can borrow a magnifying glass at front desk. We also have large print labels for the main gallery to ensure all visitors can comfortably read exhibition text.    

We have a hearing loop fitted at front desk for d/Deaf, Deafened, or Hard of Hearing visitors.

We offer a free entry ticket for visitors with disabilities plus a free ticket for accompanying carers.

"The Cartoon Museum is a London museum for British cartoonscaricatures and comic strips, owned and operated by the Cartoon Art Trust (Registered Charity 327 978). It has a library of over 5,000 books and 4,000 comics. The museum issues catalogues and features a changing display of over 250 exhibits from its collection of over 4,000 original cartoons and prints. The museum is "dedicated to preserving the best of British cartoons, caricatures, comics and animation, and to establishing a museum with a gallery, archives and innovative exhibitions to make the creativity of cartoon art past and present, accessible to all for the purposes of education, research and enjoyment.".[1]"
