Brief description
The Catholic Parish Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel & St. Wilfrid serves the Town of Selsey, the Village of Sidlesham, and Hamlets of Norton and Church Norton; within the Catholic Diocese of Arundel and Brighton. The Catholic Parish celebrated its centenary in May 2019 and of when the original church building of Our Lady of Mount Carmel & St. Wilfrid's was on this site.
As at June 2021, in common with other religious establishments in England, opening and attendance at Our Lady of Mount Carmel & St. Wilfrid's Church is subject to the Government's National Lockdown 'COVID-19' Restrictions; presently (June 2021) the Church is open for Mass daily at 10:00 a.m. except for on Saturdays which is at 5:30 p.m. For latest updates - see the latest Church Newsletter which is published on the Parish Website - Link.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel & St. Wilfrid's Church has a number of groups for the benefit of its parishioners, including children's , youth and adult groups, and other activities in support of the local community including in support of the local Food Bank.
