"The Keep Military Museum is situated on Barrack Road, Dorchester (B3150). Our postcode is DT1 1RN for those setting Sat Navs. The Museum is 10 minutes walk from Dorchester West Railway Station (Bristol line) and 20 minutes walk from Dorchester South Railway Station (Waterloo Line). There are taxi ranks at both stations. Buses to and from Weymouth stop at Top o' Town and the entrance to Dorset County Hospital, both within a few minutes walk from the Museum. Other buses stop in Trinity Street in the town centre. The centre of Dorchester is level but the walk from the town centre to the Museum is slightly up-hill.

Parking:

The Museum has a small private car park in its grounds. There are 13 spaces for use by staff, volunteers and visitors. There is no charge for parking here as long as you are visiting the museum. We regret that there are no specified disabled spaces and that it is not possible to reserve or guarantee places.

There is a public pay and display car park at Top o' next to the Museum. If it is important that you park close to the Museum we suggest that you avoid Wednesdays. This is Market Day in Dorchester and all car parks fill up very fast."
