"We discovered this large, partly derelict house within a totally overgrown garden in 2009. After moving an overgrown shrub so we could get in through the front door, we found ourselves in a magnificent hall with a rare Victorian cast iron skylight, Maws tiled floor and rain soaked wallpaper hanging off the walls! We just had to take it on, restore the obviously tarnished grandeur and share it with anyone who wants to escape from the busy world to the elegance of the past. This includes being served, on arrival, with tea and home-made cake in the Drawing Room or for those arriving in the evening, a glass of wine and nibbles."
