Brief description
The Ornamental Gardens contain rhododendrons, a bog garden, rock garden, winter garden, and a picnic area. They are situated in their own enclosed area immediately behind The Taliesin Arts Centre and several hundred yards south of the Singleton Botanical Garden.

They are situated in their own enclosed area immediately behind The Taliesin Arts Centre, and several hundred yards south of the Singleton Botanical Garden which are linked by tarmac paths through Singleton Park. However for visitors that want to avoid this long walk there is a car park immediately behind The Taliesin Arts Centre (please see https://seearoundbritain.com/venues/taliesin-art-centre-swansea-university-campus) which is reached by taking the main entrance to the Swansea University campus, on the north side of the A4067(Mumbles Road) and then following the signpost within the campus to The Taliesin Arts Centre Parking.

The exact location of its entrance from the north-east corner of the Arts Centre car park, with the Student Accommodation Office which is immediately west of the Ornamental Gardens entrance from the car park. To reach the other entrance to the Ornamental Gardens, continue along the road beyond the Arts Centre car park to the Singleton Abbey buildings ( https://seearoundbritain.com/venues/singleton-abbey-buildings-swansea-university-swansea) within the University, where there is also parking and disability parking, from where there is a sloping tarmac path to the Ornamental Gardens.

Leave M4 at Junction 42 and follow A483 towards Swansea
Continue Westwards, pass through Swansea City Centre, keeping the sea on your left hand side, following brown signage for Gower, and join the A4067.
Remain on this road passing the St Helen's Rugby and Cricket ground.
The turning for the University is on the right just before a footbridge via a set of traffic lights.
