Accessibility:

Pay and display (free for blue badge holders). The only disability toilet is at the toilet block at the far north entrance to the gardens.

The whole complex is on flat, level terrain, with wide, tarmac paths but the Arts & Crafts area of formal beds has some steps between some of the beds, which have low stone walls about one foot high. There is a temporary wheelchair ramp available for visitors to Bromley Museum, which has 2 external steps to its entrance and disability parking area adjacent.

Owned by the London Borough of Bromley, these gardens have been listed by English Heritage as a Grade II Historic Garden and date from the 17th Century, and are adjacent to 2 wings of converted, medieval buildings called “The Priory”, where Bromley Museum and Orpington Library are housed.
