Accessibility:

There are eight Blue Badge spaces 130 metres from the visitor centre entrance and another 120 car park spaces just a short walk away. The visitor centre and the shop are wheelchair friendly and the pathways around the reserve are flat, boardwalks and a rolled sand and gravel surface. There is an accessible toilet in the main toilet block near the car park. Registered Assistance Dogs are welcome; other dogs are only permitted in certain areas.

Brief Description:

Titchwell Marsh is a nature reserve owned by the RSPB. Its area totals 171 hectares (420 acres) and includes reed beds, salt marshes, a freshwater lagoon, a sandy beach and a small area of woodland.

Opening Hours:

Reserve - every day of the year.

Visitor centre and shop - daily 9.30am to 5pm (4pm Nov - Feb).

Cafe - daily from 9.30am to 4.30pm (4pm Nov - Feb).

Visitor centre, shop and cafe closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Charge of £5 per car for non members.

Transport:

There is a bus service that runs through Titchwell and stops on the main road outside of the reserve, for service times please contact the Traveline website or tel: 0870 608 2608. For information on accessible buses visit the Norfolk County Council website.

Amenities:

There is a cafe onsite which serves hot and cold food and outside picnic areas have spaces especially for wheelchairs.
