Brief Description:
Torre Abbey was founded in 1196 as a monastery. It is renowned for being Devon’s third largest art collection and situated in beautiful, formal gardens. Its gallery hosts regular exhibitions of contemporary artists whilst its own in-house collection is predominantly works of the 19th century. Most of the abbey buildings are ruins with the west and south cloisters still standing.
