Accessibility:

The site is accessed via slip roads from the A40. Depending on the layout of the event, parking may be on a hard surface near to the main exhibition hall or it could be on the larger grass parking areas. The tarmacked roads around the site are flat and well maintained and the halls and facilities offer step free access.

There are two toilet blocks on-site - one around 50m from the main hall, with no disability facilities, and the other in the main hall itself which does have disability facilities. Depending on the event there may be additional toilets supplied which may or may not include disability facilities.

Dogs on leads are welcome.

Brief Description:

The United Counties Showground is located just to the west of Carmarthen on the A40. It is a 52 acre site which hosts a range of agricultural, automotive, sporting events and displays.

Facilities include a large main arena, 200-seat covered grandstand, large, single span exhibition hall, main exhibition hall and additional space underneath the grandstand.

Directions:

From the east and north: Follow the signs for the A40 St Clears. The Showground is about 1 mile west of Carmarthen on the dual carriageway.

From the west: From St Clears take the A40 towards Carmarthen and follow the Showground signs on the dual carriageway.
