Dogs on leads and guide dogs welcome (by advanced request). Grounds are mainly grass with gravel paths. Some rooms may be difficult for wheelchair or mobility scooter users to access due to small doorways, low ceilings and limited space in historically accurate areas. Lighting in some areas can be limited. Floor surface is a combination of concrete flagstones, wooden boards, and carpet. Not level in all areas. Narrow stair cases to access some areas.

Opening Times

Accommodation is available year round, with a minimum of 7 nights booking in July and August, and 3 nights the rest of the year. 

Halls and gardens are open to the public from May to September, every Wednesday and Sunday. Group tours can be arranged Monday to Friday year round.
