Accessibility:

Blue badge parking on the road outside the centre is usually full by early morning. There are 13 disability parking spaces on the ground floor of the Millennium Centre, which must be booked in advanced, and there are only 3 time slots available. The nearest disability bay is only 70 yards from the rear ground level entrance, which opens out onto the ground floor. Immediately to your left there is a lift serving all floors. The ground floor and first floor have disability toilets with both left and right hand transfer; the one on the ground floor also has a Changing Places disability toilet with an adult hoist and changing bed facility.

In the main performance theatre there are designated wheelchair spaces, but the toilets on floors 3, 4 & 5 are smaller in floor area than those on the lower floors due to the original architectural design. There is also an information desk on the ground floor with helpful staff. Disabled people wanting to visit the centre are strongly advised to call ahead before their visit.
