Accessibility:

Warwick is a easily accessible town, the nearest cities being Birmingham and Coventry, with nearby towns Stratford-upon-Avon and Leamington Spa. Warwick railway station is an approximate 10 minute walk from the town centre and Warwick Castle.  There are a number of guided tours around the town, please contact the Tourist Information Centre for further information.

Disability parking is free for Blue Badge Holders in the District Council car parks.  Badge holders can park for free in 'on-street parking bays' according to the traffic sign specification time limits for disability badge holders.  Please be aware of any maximum time limits in operation.

Brief description:

Warwick is an English medieval town, with many half-timbered buildings similar to those found in Stratford-upon-Avon. Warwick is also situated on the River Avon. There are many tourist venues to visit which include: Warwick Castle, 14th century Lord Leycester Hospital, St John's House Museum and The Collegiate Church of St. Mary's, which has a Norman crypt and a tower with views over the town. Warwick racecourse is located on the outskirts of the town.
