Designated parking spaces are available for blue badge holders, with level access from the car park to the entrance.

Most of the garden paths are wheelchair accessible. However, some areas, such as the Rose Garden, are not accessible due to steps at both ends.

There are benches throughout the gardens for visitors to rest.

An accessible toilet is available on-site.

The Courtyard Café has a level gravelled surface with ample space around tables, providing an outdoor seating area. Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the site.

Brief description

"Although parts of the original 1802 gardens remain, much of what you see today was laid out in the late 19th century by the wife of the first Lord Crawshaw. She designed the 15 acres of mixed woodland and garden areas, with trails leading through shaded trees and little dells."
