"The museum is fully wheelchair accessible but due to the historic nature of our launches, our heritage boat trips are not accessible to wheelchair users.
Assistance dogs are welcome in the museum and café.

"Explore Windermere’s 200-year-old boating history, as we bring to life the experiences of the lake’s boats, builders, owners and sailors, through interactive displays, oral histories and a fascinating collection of boats, equipment and curiosities.
Immerse yourself in an exciting programme of arts exhibitions, family-friendly activities, creative workshops, talks and events, and venture out on the lake in one of our beautifully restored heritage boats."
