"The Winter Gardens is a large entertainment complex in Blackpool, Lancashire, England, which includes a theatre, ballroom and conference facilities. Opened in 1878, it is a Grade II* listed building, operated by Blackpool Entertainment Company Limited on behalf of Blackpool Council, which purchased the property from Leisure Parcs Ltd as part of a £40 million deal in 2010.
The Winter Gardens has hosted the annual Trades Union Congress, the Conservative Party Conference, Labour Party Conference, and the twice-annual Liberal Democrat Conference. The venue's owners claim that every Prime Minister, since World War II has addressed an audience at the venue.
It has also hosted the Blackpool Dance Festival since its inception in 1920, and the World Matchplay darts tournament since 1994. The annual dance competitions Miss Dance of Great Britain and Dance Master UK are hosted there annually."

"Blackpool North Station is approximately 10 minutes walk from the Winter Gardens.
From Blackpool North head to Talbot Road and walk towards the promenade, turn left onto Abingdon Street. Continue to on Abingdon Street and you will see The Winter Gardens Church Street entrance in front of you. Busses and Taxis are permitted to use St John’s Square so be careful when crossing.
Find out more about trains to Blackpool North with National Rail HERE
An informal arrangement is currently in place permitting coach access to Church Street (accessed from Leopold Grove) after 6pm to drop off and collect outside the Winter Gardens.
On a majority of evenings the coaches must do a loop in the area fronting the Winter Gardens (it is possible), and exit in the same direction only. If the production attracts multiple coach parties, arrangements can be made to leave the Abingdon Street gates open such that coaches enter via Church Street and exit at Abingdon Street, without congesting the Winter Gardens Frontage. Coaches are not permitted to wait in the area during the performance."
