Accessibility:
Parking near to the church is limited but there are signs on the church building permitting parking only for those with disability parking needs. There is a ramp for wheelchair access into the church which has flat flooring throughout.
"Disabled access by car is available right outside the Church entrance. The church is entered by three stone steps, or by a wheelchair ramp, but is level on the inside. The Church Garden Tearooms and Witley Court Visitor Centre are accessible by car, and are nearly flat. Toilet facilities are available at the Church Tearooms. Portaloo facilities are available at the church during services, recitals and concerts. The Gardens have some slopes and steps."
Brief Description:
St Michael’s and All Angels Church serves Great Witley and Little Witley. Following a period of decline the church was restored in 1965 and has many beautiful features including magnificent stained glass windows and internal decorations. Please note that our photographs were taken prior to 2021.

Directions:
From the M5 travelling north or south take the exit onto the A449 to Ombersley. Continue along the A4133 ‘Holt Fleet Road’ travelling west through Holt Fleet and Holt Heath. Take the road north west towards Little Witley on the A443. The entrance will become visible on the south side of the road sign posted: ‘Witley Court’ on an English Heritage brown sign. OS SO769649

Great Witley Church lies 10 miles NW of the city of Worcester, off the A443 road from Ombersley-Tenbury Wells just east of Great Witley Village. Our postcode is WR6 6JT, and can be found on OS Map 150 ref 769 649. Access is via an unmade private drive with a lodge house at each end. Please note that the access road is a bit better from the Worcester end.
Car Parking
There is limited general car parking in the vicinity of the church and disabled parking on the churchyard. Take care that you head for Witley Church, not to be confused with Witley Court which has a separate entrance and car park administered by English Heritage. Visitors to Witley Court may use their larger car park, and then visit the Church in addition to Witley Court."

If travelling by bus, please note that a rather long walk up the drive is necessary if visiting only the church. However, if you are also taking the opportunity to visit Witley Court, their entrance and newer pathways provide easier access to the church as well."
