Accessibility:

There is car parking available, a children's play area a picnic area and coffee kiosk. There is limited wheelchair access, however, there is a mobility buggy available for less able bodied persons - which must be booked in advance, free of charge. Toilets are available with disability facilities. Guided tours are available only by appointment, please contact John – 087 8549785.

Brief Description:

Woodstock House was built in 1745-47. The positioning of the winter garden provided a foreground to the magnificent views of Mount Brandon and the River Nore Valley.

Open daily. Opening hours vary with the seasons and available daylight.

Summer: (April to September) 9am to 7.30pm. Winter: (October to March) 9am to 4pm.

Admission fee is €4.00, payable on exit (coins only).

Season tickets are available to purchase from Woodstock Gardens or from Kilkenny County Council Parks Section, based in County Hall, Johns Street, Kilkenny.
