Brief Description:

WWT Llanelli Wetlands Centre at Llanelli is a wetland nature reserve which is a 500-acre site on the Burry Inlet estuary. The site includes walks, bird hides and a visitor centre. You can hand feed the rarest goose in the world, see the colourful flamingos, go bug hunting or pond dipping and explore the reserve to see butterflies, dragonflies and other wildlife. More than 60,000 birds return to the centre to overwinter. The reserve is split into 2 areas either side of the visitor centre: on one side of it are the Millennium wetlands, and the other area is best accessed with signposted routes from the café in the visitor centre.
