"Y Galeri Caerffili is a warm and welcoming gallery located in the Visit Caerphilly Centre directly opposite the Castle.

It specialises in showcasing work by established and emerging welsh artists through a regularly changing gallery programme. The gallery also sells handcrafted jewellery, glass, ceramic and wood from more than 50 designers and makers.

"About Caerphilly Visitor Centre

The friendly and welcoming staff at Caerphilly Visitor Centre are on hand to ensure that you get the very most from your visit to the county borough. You can get independent advice to plan your travel itinerary or to book accommodation and pick up Caerphilly Visitor Guide and local area leaflets and walking guides. The staff are on hand to answer questions on the local area.

The centre is full of information on places to visit in the region and also houses an impressive gift shop showcasing locally made quality crafts - a unique art gallery featuring Welsh artists paintings, crafts and pottery.

With a view overlooking the impressive Caerphilly Castle you'll find a selection of quality barista coffee, homemade cakes, snacks and specialty tarts and cheese and the best hot chocolate around!

With a recently refurbished interior and spacious outdoor seating area, there's plenty of space to enjoy the surroundings.
