Accessibility:

Aberthaw Beach, also known as Limpert Bay, needs car access. The beach is of pebbles and rock and is surrounded by the Coast Path.

Brief description:

The beach is mainly of pebbles and rock. The Bay holds the inlet and outlet pipes for the Power Station which are visible at low water.

The Beach is accessed via a small lane from the village of Gileston. There is a small car park at the end of the lane. OS ST 020 664

Opening Times:

There is a Visitor Centre at the Power Station that runs sessions for School and Community Groups. Contact is via the website. 

Transport:

There is a regular bus service around Cardiff and its surrounding area.
