Accessibility:

There is no car park at the studio, but on-road parking should be possible if care is taken to leave space for other vehicles as the lane is quite narrow.

Brief Description:

This church building is a replacement for the still standing Llangelynnin Old Church further up the valley. The new church was built by Thomas Jones of Chester in a late Georgian style around 1839-40 to move the place of worship to an area of higher population.

The tower has a distinctive square base rising to an octagonal castellated upper section.

The church was closed in the 1980s and is now the studio of a sculptor and artist.
