The main car park is a little walk away from the Centre.

There are 2 disability parking bays directly outside the Centre, with ramped access to the front door.

Many of the hides and trails are fully accessible.

There is an electric buggy available for hire – please phone the Centre to book.

Assistance dogs allowed.

Directions

Leave the A1 at the Oakham A606 Junction and take the A606 towards Oakham. Remain on A606 following the signs for Empingham, Whitwell and Oakham. A little while after passing through Whitwell and the North Shore Car park look out for a turning on the left sign posted for Egleton and the Bird Watching Centre, which you should take.

After a short distance turn right onto Church Road, again sign posted for Egleton and the Bird Watching Centre, and follow this into the village and until you reach a T Junction.

Turn left at the junction following the brown signage until you reach the car park on your left hand side.

To access the Centre carry straight on after the car park.
