There are numerous car parks in Ballymena, with parking areas that are free of charge and also those in which you have to pay for. There is also disabled parking in Wellington street and dogs are allowed on leads, and the town centre is wheelchair-accessible with ramps and disabled parking bays. The paths have been newly refurbished in the past 3 years in Ballymena creating a level ground for visitors with wheelchairs. There are no handrails in the main part of the town centre, however there are handrails in the 2 shopping centres.

Ballymena is 30 miles from the city capital Belfast, which can be accessed from the M1 motorway, then on to the Antrim dual-carriageway then to Ballymena Seven Towers Roundabout and next you take the second exit on the roundabout and the first exit on the Ballymena dual-carriageway and the middle lane which will give directions to Ballymena and the Town Centre.

Open 9 to 5pm during Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday

Open 9 to 8pm during Thursday and Friday

Open 2 to 5pm on a Sunday.

There are also public toilets in Ballymena on Wellington Street, however these cost 20 pence to use, however there are free public toilets in Tower Centre and Fairhill Shopping centre, and are in the Town Centre. There are numerous amenities available in the town centre with a hotel called the Adair Arms, 3 banks with 1 post office in the town centre, plenty of eating establishments at a good cost and plenty of shops such as clothes, food and toy shops.
