Accessibility

There is a car park opposite the Braid in Ballymena; however you have to pay to park and it has disability parking bays. Guide dogs are allowed in the building and the Braid building has been designed to allow easier access for those in wheelchairs and those who have visual impairments with appropriate signage for those with visual impairments. The ground on-site is level, handrails are available, hearing aids are available for those who are in the museum and the theatre. Directions

By Road
From Belfast and Carrickfergus
Take the M2 motorway from Belfast and follow until the M2 becomes the M22. Take exit (J1) for Antrim/Ballymena/Coleraine (A26). At the roundabout follow signs for Ballymena (A26). At the Seven Towers (Ballee) roundabout follow the signs for The Braid.

Toilets are on-site, the Braid centre is in the town centre so shops, bank, post offices, accommodation and eating establishments are close by, however there is a café in the Braid arts centre.
