Accessibility:

The leisure centre has its own car park, with disability spaces next to the entrance. There is a ramp for access into the centre, its reception has a low counter and there is a lift to the first floor. There are accessible toilet facilities on both ground and first floors and there is a dedicated changing room at the poolside for disabled visitors. There is a hoist for access to the swimming pool and much of the gym equipment is disability-friendly. All signs within the centre are duplicated in braille and the gym equipment is high-contrast for the visually impaired.

Brief Description:

Barry Leisure Centre has the following facilities: 25m swimming pool, 13m learner’s pool, a gym, a fitness studio, squash courts and other courts in the sports hall and a cycling studio. You can pay per activity or purchase memberships.

Directions:

Barry Leisure Centre is near to the docklands area of Barry Town. From the A4055 take either Broad Street/Holton Road or Dock View Road and you can then turn onto Greenwood Street where the leisure centre is located.
