The tiny village of Black Dog does not have disability access parking or toilets although there are wide parking bays available on and off its roads. Visit Tiverton to find accessible facilities. In Tiverton, Beck Square car park and West Exe South have disability spaces for blue badge permit holders. Disability toilets are located at the Peoples Park, Market car park, West Exe South and West Exe recreation ground.

Situated on one of the highest ridges between Dartmoor and Exmoor this picturesque village is well known for its pub, the Black Dog Inn, which is frequently used by walkers exploring Dartmoor.

Directions:

From Exeter travelling north west take the exit into Crediton on the A3072. Travel north through Crediton onto Jockey Hill in the direction of Sandford. Continue straight along Stone’s Hill into Black Dog Village. From the M5 travelling south take the exit east onto the A361 towards Tiverton. From Tiverton follow the B3137 as far as the junction for Witherbridge. Take the turn south east for Thelbridge and at Thelbridge turn south into Hele Lane Hill To Black Dog Village.
