Workshops now run in the Round Tower, a beautiful listed building, originally used as a wool-drying tower. The ground floor has access for disabled visitors and the building has its own access."

"Black Swan Arts is a charity and centre for art and crafts in Frome and the wider region. Housed in a listed and locally important building, it has been creating inclusive opportunities for the whole community since 1986.
Black Swan Arts is an established arts centre in the heart of the renowned creative market town of Frome. Our vibrant and varied programme features contemporary and innovative art and craft. We are a popular arts venue for the creative people of Somerset and beyond, providing exhibition, shop, studio and workshop space, and a welcoming place to meet friends in the River House Cafe.
Black Swan Arts supports practitioners of contemporary and traditional arts and crafts, at all stages of their careers, acting as a hub for artists and makers to meet, make connections and develop their practice. We bring excellent, thought-provoking and inspirational work to local audiences through our varied programme of exhibitions in the Long Gallery.
We also provide opportunities through our studio spaces for early career professionals to develop as small businesses, while our Open exhibitions and Round Tower programme offer the chance for artists at all stages of their career to showcase their work to audiences and make valuable sales."
