Brief Description:

Blaenavon Workmen’s Hall, an impressive building which was opened in January 1895 and was funded by the Blaenavon Workmen’s Institute. The hall still provides a focal point of community activity as it did when it was first built, offering a cinema, concerts, snooker and table tennis plus conference and community facilities.

Directions:

From the A40 roundabout at Abergavenny (Hardwick Gyratory) take the Heads of the Valleys Rd/A465 for half a mile and then take the A4143/B4246 exit towards Abergavenny. Follow the B4246 for about 6 miles to Church Rd in Blaenavon. Turn left onto High Street when you reach the clock tower and the hall will be on your left.
