There is a car park, with three disability spaces, along Church Road to the east, with pedestrian crossings and dropped-kerbs along the route to the churchyard entrance. Toilets are available at the Blaenavon World Heritage Centre next door, and a toilet available in the church. Several Parking areas are nearby..
Brief Description:
St. Peter’s Church, built in 1803, is in the middle of Blaenavon and is next to the Blaenavon World Heritage Centre. It is the earliest industrial church in Monmouthshire and houses features that illustrate the importance of the iron industry in the area, including a cast iron font, pillars, door sills and iron-topped tombs in the graveyard. See "The cast-iron font, pillars which hold up the galleries, frames of doors and windows.In the churchyard are the iron topped tombs of the iron masters. The bell tower includes a fine ring of eight bells."

Opening times vary, but if the church is closed when you visit a key is available from the Blaenavon World Heritage Centre next door.
Directions:
From the A40 roundabout at Abergavenny (Hardwick Gyratory) take the Heads of the Valleys Road/A465 for half a mile and then take the A4143/B4246 exit towards Abergavenny. Follow the B4246 for about 6 miles to Church Road in Blaenavon and the church will be on your right after the Heritage Centre.

Toilet. There are no other amenities on site, but a shop, café, toilets and picnic areas are available in the Blaenavon World Heritage Centre next door. Otherwise there are many more shops and food/drink outlets in Blaenavon itself.
